Dr. Matthias Heider

Competence

Dr. Matthias Heider is a lawyer at BDO Legal. He is a member of the Energy Law practice group.

He advises companies in all aspects of regulatory law, in particular commercial administrative law and competition law.

Matthias Heider studied law in Bonn. He completed his doctorate in Bonn on the subject of "Concession agreements for grid-bound utilities". 

Before joining BDO Legal, he was head of the legal and patent department in an associated company of the chemical industry and worked in his own law firm. In addition, he was a member of the German Bundestag for three legislative periods. 

When he is not working for his clients, he likes to keep fit by running, traveling and visiting exhibitions.
