Kathrin Reitner

Competence

Kathrin Reitner is a lawyer and partner at BDO Legal. She is a member of the Employment Law practice group.

She advises national and international medium-sized companies on individual and collective employment law and European employment law. In particular, she has extensive experience in providing employment law advice in M&A transactions and restructurings, transfers of undertakings, the deployment of external personnel and employee secondments. She also advises in corporate law and areas of law related to employment law, with a focus on social (insurance) law issues, company audits and court proceedings.

Kathrin Reitner studied law in Munich. As a certified business mediator (CVM), she offers professional conflict management in labor and business disputes. Ms. Reitner is also involved in current legal policy issues as a board member of the Federal Association of Commercial Law Firms in Germany (BWD).

Before joining BDO Legal, she was a partner and lawyer in a large medium-sized international auditing firm.

When she is not working for her clients, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, relax by running in the forest or doing yoga, or enjoy water sports in the summer.
