Dr. Franziska Hügel-Spohnheimer is a lawyer and partner at BDO Legal. She heads the Labor Law practice group.

The focus of her work is providing employment law advice the restructuring of companies and operational changes as well as employment law advice regarding transfers of undertakings. She also advises national and international companies on all questions of individual and collective employment law, employment contract law and related social security law issues. She also represents the interests of our clients before the labor courts in all instances.

Franziska Hügel-Spohnheimer studied law in Jena. She completed her doctorate in Jena on the subject of "Self-administration as a model for increasing the insolvency estate". 

Before joining BDO Legal, she worked for a major international law firm in Düsseldorf.

In her spare time, she enjoys city trips in Europe, art exhibitions and sports.
