Competence

Dr. Konstantin Michelsen is a lawyer and partner at BDO Legal. He is a member of the Corporate/M&A practice group.

He advises on the acquisition and sale of non-listed companies. He regularly advises on the legal structuring and preparation of corporate transactions, the organization and execution of legal due diligence reviews and the drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation.

Konstantin Michelsen studied law in Bayreuth and Hamburg (Bucerius Law School). He completed his doctorate in Osnabrück on the subject of "The treatment of asset movements between spouses under inheritance and gift tax law". 

Before joining BDO Legal, he worked for a major national law firm and specialized boutiques for corporate law/M&A in Hamburg.

When he is not working for his clients, he enjoys playing tennis, skiing and spending time with friends and family.
